FOIF at the AfricaGEO 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa

During July 1-3, FOIF attend AfricaGEO 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa. This exhibition was held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). This is the second AfricaGEO Conference and Exhibition and it build on the proud tradition of the Conference of Southern African Surveyors (CONSAS).

The overall theme of the AfricaGEO is “Developing Geomatics in Africa”. It focuses do business in Africa and African Land Reform. The conference provides a platform to share the latest developments in the industry of surveying and geo-information, including remote sensing and aerial imagery. This indeed is the highest level event in South Africa, attracts many surveyors to attend.

Suzhou FOIF Co., Ltd. participated in this exhibition together with local dealer PROTSURV GEO CENTRE (Pty) Ltd. We exhibited OTS682-R500 total station this time. Many users like its design and function. Dr. Chen Jun, President of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, National Geomatics Centre of China also visit our booth.

After discussing with new and old friends, we have created confidence that we can do better in this market.
